Come join us, Bruce Barth, Ford Motor Company 6-Sigma Master Black Belt, and Evan Tarris, grandson and chief experimentalist, as we lead YOU in performing and analyzing a statistically designed experiment. Yes, you will conduct and analyze a 2x2 full factorial designed experiment during the meeting and will learn the power and flexibility of the process in the bargain. Analysis will be graphical so do not fear the math..
This experiment and its results are not trivial. Sugar provides some very interesting and unexpected results, so, BEWARE, there is science content. It will be fun, informative, and educational.
Evan and I developed this experiment in the kitchen one evening and it is now being regularly used in Ford Motor Company training classes. Evan is 7 years old but the designed experiment kept his interest throughout the process. It was his observation "Sugar Shazam!" that best sums up the plan for our September meeting.
Please join us,
Bruce A. Barth, CQE, CSSBB Certified 6 Sigma Master Black Belt
